The Bible
We believe that every word of the Bible was breathed out (inspired) by God and is therefore God’s perfect revelation of Himself to mankind. These words were written down by holy men of God under the Divine direction of the Spirit of God thereby ensuring that this record is without error in its entirety and can be trusted as the final authority in every area of life. This record has been faithfully preserved in the Hebrew Masoretic text (MT) of the Old Testament and the Greek Received Text (TR) of the New Testament. Any Bible in any language which is faithfully translated from these two texts is the Word of God. We only recommend and use the King James Version of the Bible in our church because it is a faithful translation of the MT and the TR and the only available English translation which is based upon these texts. ( II Tim. 3:16, II Pet. 1:20-21, Matt. 4:4, 5:17-19, Psalm 12:6-7)

God
We believe that there is only one true God, that He is self-existent, and has no beginning or end. He is omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent and immutable. He is a person, not some impersonal force, and also a Spirit Who cannot be limited by time or space. He is Triune, one God eternally existing in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, all being co-equal in their attributes. The primary attribute of God is holiness, and all of His other attributes must be viewed and explained in light of this holiness in order to agree. While God in His fulness can never be understood, He has revealed enough of Himself to man through His Word for him to be saved and live in accord with God’s will for his life. (Gen. 1:1, John 4:24; Matt. 3:16-17, I John 5:7, I Peter 1:16, Isaiah 55:8-9, Rom. 12:1-2)

The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe that the Lord Jesus possesses all the attributes of Deity, is not a created being and has always existed from eternity past. That He is omniscient, omnipresent and immutable. That He is the Creator and Sustainer of all things and took upon Himself a human nature being born of a virgin. That He was tempted in all points like as we are yet without sin. That being God in the flesh, He had no capacity for sin and therefore could not nor ever will be able to sin. That His blood was/is Divine and incorruptible. That the Lord Jesus willingly laid down His life as a substitute for the sins of all mankind. We believe that the Lord Jesus rose bodily from the grave on the third day with victory over this present evil world system, Satan, death, hell and the grave for all who will place their faith in Him. (Philip. 2:5-8, Rev. 1:8, Col. 1:16-17, Gal. 4:4, Isa. 7:14, Heb. 4:15, I Pet. 1:18-19)

The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is just as much God as God the Father and God the Son . He is omniscient , omnipotent, omnipresent and eternal. He is the Author of all the Holy Scriptures and teaches the believer from the Scriptures. He is not a mystical force but a Person as shown by the fact that He can be grieved, sinned against, guide, teach, speak, make intercession, comfort, etc. The infilling of the Spirit of God is evidenced by the fruit of the Spirit: i.e. love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. This infilling is in no way associated with the Charismatic false teachings of speaking in tongues, healing, etc. He gives victory over sin to the yielded believer and is presently reproving the world of sin, righteousness and judgment, seeking to prepare a Bride for Christ (Acts 5:3-4, I Cor. 2:10-11, Luke 1:35, Psalm 139:7-10, Heb. 9:14, 2 Pet. 1:21, John 16:7-13, Eph. 4:30, Gal. 5:22-24, Rom. 8:1,13).

Man
We believe man in no way evolved but was a direct, instantaneous creation of God and will live forever in either heaven or hell. Man was created for God’s glory, to have fellowship with Him, and is accountable to Him. Man was made in the image of God in his moral likeness (ability to reason, communicate intelligently, choose, etc.) not in his physical likeness. That man was created innocent but with a free will to choose to obey or disobey God. Adam was the federal head of the human race, and when he sinned in the Garden of Eden all mankind sinned with him being yet in his loins. Because of this, all men are born sinners and must be born again by receiving God’s free gift of salvation. (Gen. 1:26-27; 2:7, 2:25-3:13, Ps. 100:3, I Cor. 15:21-22, 45-49, Rom. 3:10, 23; 6:23).

Salvation
We believe that because all persons are sinners by nature and by choice, God Himself in His mercy has provided the means of salvation by the sinless life of Jesus Christ, His substitutionary death on the cross, and His resurrection from the grave. This provision of salvation is sufficient and available to all, is obtained only by those who repent of their sins and receive Christ alone as Savior, and is experienced in the Divine miracle of the new birth. Salvation from the penalty of sin is immediate, salvation from the power of sin in the life is on-going, and salvation from the presence of sin is future when each believer will be glorified in the resurrection/rapture of the saints. Genuine salvation is evidenced by a righteous life and secures the soul of the believer for all Eternity. (Romans 3:23, 6:23, John 1:12-13, 3:3,16, 10:28)

The Church
Although the English word “church” is used to refer to buildings, denominations, all believers around the world, etc., the use of this word in the New Testament refers only to a local assembly. A New Testament church is an assembly of believers who have each received Christ as their Savior, identified themselves with the Lord by baptism into the church membership, and have covenanted with each other to continue in the fellowship and Biblical doctrine of that assembly. There are only two Scriptural offices (pastors/bishops/elders and deacons – both operating within the local assembly) and two Scriptural ordinances (baptism and the Lord’s Supper). Churches exist to honor and worship the Lord by living lives that are obedient to the Scriptures, evangelizing the lost, and training Christians to obey the Scriptures. Churches should be autonomous – operating independently of denominational or government control. (Matthew 16:16-19, 18:15-20, 28:18-20, Acts 2:41-47, 5:27-32, 6:1-7, 20:17,28, 1 Timothy 3:1-16)

Future Events
We believe that the next event on God’s prophetic calendar is the rapture/resurrection of the saints in the air by the Lord Jesus Himself. Although we believe this event could happen at any minute, no man knows the day nor the hour it will occur. The coming of Christ for His saints will be before the tribulation and the millennium. Immediately following this rapture, the seven (7) year tribulation will begin which will be a time when God pours out His wrath on an unbelieving world. Following the tribulation, the Lord will return bodily to this earth with His saints to literally and physically rule and reign from Jerusalem for 1000 years. During this 1000 years Satan will be bound in the bottomless pit. During the millennium there will be a partial removal of the curse and Christ will establish world-wide peace. At the end of this millennial reign Satan will be loosed from the bottomless pit and many will follow him in his final rebellion. Following this rebellion Satan will be cast forever into the lake of fire to be eternally tormented. All those who followed Satan in this final rebellion, along with all of the wicked dead will then stand before the Great White Throne to be judged according to their works and then cast into eternal punishment in the lake of fire. After this judgment the present earth will melt away with a fervent heat and there will be a new heaven and a new earth where the saints will dwell eternally in the presence of God (Is. 2:4; 9:4-7; I Cor. 15:51-55; I Thess. 4:13-17; II Pet. 3:10; Revelation 17:1-18, 19:1 – 20:8; Rev. 21-22)

Separation
The Christian and the church are to maintain obedience to God’s commands and separation from all sin, worldliness, and false doctrine. Churches are to discipline their members who engage in sin and also warn them of false teachers. The leaders in the church should manifest character that is exemplary in its conduct. Both in the church services and in daily life Christians should dress in a way that is clearly marked by modesty and a distinction between the sexes. Christians and churches must not cooperate with but should expose the false doctrine and disobedient practices of movements such as the Charismatic, Ecumenical, and Contemporary church movements. (Matt. 18:15-20, I Cor. 5:1-13, Rom. 16:17-19, I Tim. 3:1-16, I Tim. 2:8-10, Deut. 22:5, Eph. 5:6-11)
